In a nutshell, I solved my RFI induced audio problem with the Orion and my
Heil microphones by tying the Heil's Mic shield to both the Orion's audio
ground and to the Orion's chassis connector in the manner described by Heil
on their web site...... On the air reports have validated the resolution of
the problem in this manner.
Similarily, I had RFI induced problems with my Icoms 775DSP and Heil
microphones. Connecting the Heil's shield to both the microphone and
chassis ground solved the problem.
