I am currently running 100 watts on 2 meters in my 2005 Dodge Magnum RT
which is about as electronic as a car can get with all throttle,
transmission shifts etc completely electrical. I also gave a Sirius
Satellite radio from the factory and the 100 watts on 2 meters does not
bother anything as far as I can tell. I have a 5/8 wave antenna mounted on
the roof, the tranciever mounted in the rear underfloor compartment right
over the battery and fusebox. I will mount the little tarheel antenna on a
hatchback mount soon and run 100 watts on 80-10 meters but I don't expect
any problem there either. If I should I will post it to the list.
