Hello Craig,
I use the ORION II in the digital modes, mostly PSK31 and RTTY, with an
occassional SSTV when 20 meters is good. I use N4PY control software and
MixW configured to use Pegausus/Jupiter (emulation) for CAT control. That
way it works through the N4PY software. This works very well, but it does
take two serial ports to do the work. At least that is the way I figured it
out. In the current setup, I use AFSK for the digital modes. It would be
good for me, to figure out how to use FSK on RTTY instead. So how are you
setup Craig?

Subject: [TenTec] RTTY with my Pegasus WHAT FUN!
Thanks to the encouragement, example of help of Harry, WA8HC, I'm now
having a blast on RTTY. This weekend, despite the worst propagation
since the "big bang" five billion years ago, I was able to work at least
a dozen 20 meter DX stations and a few more on 40 with my Pegasus and
low dipoles. As Harry says, the Pegasus was MADE for digital modes.
So -- I'm wondering how many more Ten Tec digital-heads there are? I
know our own Don Cunningham's another, but who else. It'd be fun to get
together on th air and "pass notes". Oh -- and besides RTTY, what other
digital modes do you enjoy?

Craig
