With Flame Suit On: Life is entirely too short to run QRP on RTTY. Exactly! PSK31, maybe some other sound cards you can do well on very low power. RTTY, especially in a contest, you need the horsepower. IMO. 73, Mike K9MI ron <roncasa@verizon.net> wrote: On Wednesday 05 July 2006 09:07 am, Dave Tipton wrote:Agahst!! Horrors!! You do NOT need a 100 watts to do PSK, RTTY or even SSTV! Try a 516 (Argonuat V)! Or a 555 (Scout)! I have used both successfully. Ron, wb1hga I'd like to pickupanother "Something" just to dedicate to digital modes. The only criterion that I'm trying to meet, is that it must be a 100 Watt rig._______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
