[TenTec] Omni 7 ethernet control.

I am about to order a new Omni 7...from what I have read the rig can be 
controlled via it's ethernet port.
I am planning to connect its port to a dsl modem in the shack.
My father, K4AK, is in a retirement community in another part of the country 
and I want to be able to have him use the rig via the internet for cw, as 
well as myself and my xyl at this qth using the dsl modem...
Any problems? thanks....
