Let me end it by telling you that even a setting of 3.0, the max, doesn't

John, after properly setting your mic gain (ALC), you need to adjust
your config TXG VCE setting to equalize your amp's output between cw
and ssb.
This is an issue for the Elecraft reflector or private email though,
not the Ten-Tec reflector.
