Or, perhaps, just move the pins as required in the cable that you apparently
already have.

Seems like the solution would be to build your own custom cable
that connects the appropriate band select output pins of the Omni V to
the appropriate band select input pine of the Hercules II. The connector
bodies and pin inserts are available from several sources (Mouser,
Digikey, Allied, etc.) as are the crimp tool to install the pins on the
wires. May be more economical to buy a "Connector Designer Kit" which
includes the pins, bodies and crimping tool. You'll have a lot of extra
connector parts left over, and you'll save time with the ordering. If it
is more complicated than just each transceiver band select pin
connecting to one amplifier band select pin each you may need to build a
diode matrix. It occurs to me that the Omni V has fewer bands than the
Hercules II, so it is just a matter of skipping the bands on the
Hercules that the Omni V does not have.
On the other hand if you are one of those hams that buys ready made
wire dipole antennas, because it is too technical for you to build one
yourself, you'll have get someone else to build a cable.
