I recently heard that Heil QUIET PHONE PRO head phones gets their circuit
boards from the same company as Bose. I all so heard they have the most recent
boards newer than the Bose 15. From what I have heard on the Demo Heil QPPs
were impressive. More rugged, heaver cords and the cord is easy to replace. I
do not like how the plug fits to cover the hole for the boom mike attachment.
A threaded cover would have been better and more professional. Freq range on
the low end has a higher cut off that the Bose, but I will never hear it cause
who listens to CW that low?
I own a pair of Bose QC 2 and Noise Buster head phones. I like the Bose QC 2
better on CW. I take the Noise busters on field day and trips.
I wonder if the Heil Quiet Phone Pro are better on CW than the QC-2. I do not
own or ever tried the Heil Quiet Phone Pro or the Bose QC-15.
