Bill,

I had similar behavior with 565. I replaced the snaphat battery, which
after it was pulled out and checked - was "dead". When putting everything
back together I plugged and unplugged the cables in an attempt to dress up
the contacts. - For what it is worth - Karl

This is a update on the problem listed below. I began trying to figure out
the problem with the O2. I notice the led lights on front of the rig would
dim and almost go out. I tap on the rig and the led light would brighten up

to normal and all would start back working.
I took the front panel off the rig and try to find a loose connetion. I
finally decided it was the short cable that goes to the little board on the
display. I could not get it unplugged until I took the front of the rig
apart. I took it apart and unplug the cable to the display and plugged it
back in place. Now the Orion II seem to work just fine.I should have plugged

it on and off a few times so maybe it would make a good contact. May it
will work for a while.(I had to take the front of the rig apart twice
because the ribbon to the display came loose while I was trying to get back
together the first time. When I turn the rig on all I got was a white lite
up display. So I took it a part a second time and was a little more careful
when I put it back together.)
