I recently had problems with my 2.4 SSB filter. At times it worked fine, other
times the RX sens was terrible and other times it was dead.
I found by wiggling the crystals it would return momentarily to normal. I found
several crystals with terrible solder connections. I re soldered the entire
board (the pins that plug into the radio were bad too) and it now works fine. A
couple of the crystal pins would not reflow and I had to remove the solder and
put a small wire around the crystal pin and connect to the foil to get them to
resolder.
Do not know if this is your problem but something to look at.

Does anyone have any insight into problems (and solutions) that would cause
failure in a Ten Tec model 282 (or any other similar model) crystal filter?
When the unit is plugged into its slot (on a Corsair) we get no response. Our
next step is to test it on a network analyzer but I felt it would be worthwhile
to also get inputs from people on the reflector.
