(supplied) going through the mast clamps AND through the mast.

Don't feel bad, Jerry. Both of mine are pinned, but in each case the idiot who drilled the mast got the hole just far enough off line so that I couldn't get the bolt through. I was the idiot in the second case, but the first one was a supposed machinist.... I wound up using a smaller diameter bolt in each case to do the pinning. It has worked OK so far (8 years in one case).
