I bought a townhouse 7 years ago. Put up a 2m vertical...prices went up
100%. I took the antenna down two years ago...prices dropped 50% go

Because that will give people yet another thing to incorrectly blame a
ham antenna for.

When the market tanks, they'll just say "It's because of that eyesore"
and demand their money.

Someone on eHam related a story about how he made his neighbor's TVI
went away by telling her he sold all his radios and just hadn't taken
the antennas down yet. Imagine what happens if the situation were that
her house she bought for $550,000 was only worth $475,000 "since that
antenna went up"
