Hi Jim and all,

About 18 years ago we built our home outside Peoria, Il. on 5 acres. At the
time we were the 3rd house out of the possible eight. Put up a US Tower 55'
crack-up (because of my wife's wishes for no guy wires) :)

Put the tower up and a few weeks later the antennas went on. Didn't run
feedlines into the house for a couple of weeks but never had any complaints.

Happy to report we still have not had any complaints... Don't know for sure
but since I am the only person in the group that has a generator that may
have some influence.....

You might keep that in mind for the future! Could make a big difference.
Run a neighbors refig and or freezer for an hour or so could be a big plus
for that big stick in the sky. Also alerting neighbors to severe WX can also
be a help. Get them to buy their own WX radios is a good plan.

What I am saying is keep the blinders off and educate your neighbors on what
can protect them and their homes...

Can buy you a LOT!
