I have a 135’ OCF strung between Douglas firs at about 65 feet. In our common
70+ mph winds the trees sway enough that my two old bowling balls used as
weights go up and down 6 feet or more. I used to use 3# lead downrigger sinkers
but that was not able to provide enough tension to keep wire taut.
