Yes the voltage on the transistor collector goes to zero when a dot or dash is being sent.

It must be the keying circuit on my FT-One that doesn't like the voltage constant that keeps it keyed until a charactor is sent.

Its the same circuit I used for the LPT output form ct.


OK. Guess that means the one published in the CT manual.

  A PNP transistor.
There's 9v across the ground and pin 4 continuous that keys the circuit on

PIN 4 ! ? Of the connector ?

my FT-ONE. When it keys the CW charactors switch the voltage off.

The voltage on the transistor collector should go to zero when a dot
or dash is being sent.


Each I tried using the computer ground as well. That didn't do anything. It may be somthing about the motherboard I am using. It's and Asus.

ASUS is fine.

  Anyway I have a
few moer days before WAE to resolve this.
