That is "working as designed" at least if you were trying in on 
the FSK port.  The FSK port emulates a UART (using the cpu in 
microKEYER, DigiKeyer, microKEYER II or MK2R/MK2R+) on the 
TxD line.  The only way to test EXTFSK with one of the "KEYER" 
interfaces is to use DTR and RTS for the CW and PTT ports.

MMTTY works fine with the "UART" in Router/KEYER as long as "C: 
Limiting Speed" is selected in the "USB Port."  All that does 
is cause MMTTY to output one character every 165 msec rather 
than dump a buffer full at a time.  The "buffer full" approach 
causes trouble because the USB buffer is very large and does 
not always indicate "data in buffer" correctly.
