CT will correctly read the radio when CT first loads up. The initial band, mode, and freq (in the bandmap) are correct. After that no more read data, jsut commands to the radio. The plot thickens. I

I took a look at what CTWin is sending out the RS-232 port. On initially loading, it issues commands to the radio to set both VFOs and read the frequency and mode. That's why CTWin correctly displays
