I think menus, cw, internal keyer.. something in there will turn it off.. Bob, or the group. I am finally using my Orion for its very first contest. I was reluctant to do so due to the learning curve

Boy, I sure love my alpha 87 a, just hook up the coax, run a RLY cable and go. the only thing I have to do is not overdrive it. it needs 50 watts max, but I leave it at 38-40 watts output and average

I agree completely . I finally went to digest mode on the TT reflector, when they started bashing the TT omni VII and it is not even out yet. so I appreciate the fact that that reflector has probably
