I tried what Ian has said, and my winkey (dont know which version but its about 3-4 years old) on Com3 works fine no irregular speed ups or down and the speed pot works fine as well, using SD V13.41B

Downloaded the new version tonight V13.41d and was playing about with it in a test contest that I had previously used for testing SD and in RUN mode it was switching itself into S&P mode?? I switched

I have downloaded the new .exe that you put in the last mail Paul and all is fine, I altered the RUNRANGE to 0 and that has cured my S&P problem as well (I never changed it honest!) The speed pot on

I had the sane problem as Peter KNU, but I check my version of SD and it is 14.8 not 9 so I am assuming that was why the frequency stayed the same colour? will download the new version Cheers John G4
