So I put it in and the meters work like they're supposed to.  Just worried if it affects the overload circuit. However, the amp is running very acceptably.  25ma of Grid current at 1500 watts out. Me

Just use the right diode to begin with..and that's not the 1N400X series. Not sure how to interpret your comment.  It comes with a 1N4001 from the factory. Mark N5OT _________________________________
