Jim ,
That is correct and it stays the same until 1973 , at which time it changes
to "The Amateur is Loyal...He offers his loyalty, encouragement and support
to his fellow radio Amateurs, His local club and to the American Radio Relay
League, Through which amateur radio is represented" .
The 1973 handbook cost $4.50.
In the 1990 edition they added " Through which Amateur Radio in the United
States is represented nationally and internationally".
By that time the price had gone up to $23.00.
By the way I have the new handbook and think it a very good book. I am
especially happy with the reproduction of the first edition I think they did
a great job.
