It's like the ringing of a bell, Steve.

Except that primary parasitic oscillation didn't
have a fundamental......

It might have been the result of a negative wavelength,
in itself a result of a negative frequency whose 
effect was "seen" in the positive-wavelength universe.

I've just had a thought - do you think it might have been a parasitic
