Hi, Paul here, looking for info on shunt feeding a WT-51 crank up tower by
Tri-Ex. I will have an 11 foot mast out the top with a 2/440 vertical at top,
4 element 6 meter beam just below 2/440, 14 element 2 meter beam 4 1/2
feet below 6 meter beam and a TH6DXX 4 feet below that. What should I do
for shunt feeding it, and is there enuff aluminum up there for a decent
capacitance hat. Remember, the only stoopid question is the one I DON'T ask.

I think everyone's missing the point here. In Canada we have to conserve our
resources. I would first attempt to harness the energy created by 1500
wasps. Using a practical friction co-efficient and assuming a nest size of
60 cubic inches we should be able to harness over 300 foot pounds of energy
with sizable torque. Perhaps enough for a full size 3el i60 meter beam.
First we would need a way to get all the wasps moving in the proper
rotation. Actually that parts easy if you have the proper incentive. A cute
female hornet will usually do the job, the real problem is getting them to
reverse direction. I think Lew McCoy had an article on that..... Would that
move you into the multi-single class????? Must think about this.....
