It is just the radio, when I get it back to the shop and connected to a very
nearby AP, it will recieve but not transmit. We are using outdoor UTP and
running a seperate 14 Ga. solid copper ground.

Is it just the radio card that is dieing or the whole KN-105.  Also,  are
you using shielded or standard Cat-5 cable and what length?
