Just to reiterate my comments from 2 years ago... Samsung high-end energy-efficient super-(audio) quiet refrigerator creates extremely strong RFI every 5 KHz.....it's from the compressor, not the display...

No help from Samsung USA... Claimed to have no idea of the problem... they said "Sorry we can't help"...

Common and differential node chokes applied INSIDE the casing, but only reduced the hash between the RF spurs a little. To operate radio I must kill the power at the breaker....

So I continue to badmouth Samsung until they notice a drop-off in sales.... won't buy another Samsung product until they come up with a fix for the refrigerator....

We can't count on congress or FCC to act on this issue.... If we hams had a "blacklist" of RFI generators and refused to buy those product lines, maybe the manufacturers would notice a slight drop in sales and ask why...
