I have a Carrier AC unit which is about 5 years old. The only RFI problem
I've had with it is when the motor starting capacitor was replaced. The
new cap was not a tight fit to the original mounting strap and rattled in
its position. I took several lengths of large gauge copper wire and jammed
those in between the new cap body and the mounting straps so no rattling
was present. That fixed the problem.
