I heard mention of putting a 100 ohm resistor is series with the common ground connection for the headphones as a solution to the headphone click problem. Wouldn't a resistor here cause some "crosstalk" between the to earpieces, or reduced stereo separation. On most rigs this would not be an issue, but since the Onion has some special features that depend on stereo function of the headphones, maybe it does matter. Why not a 100 ohm resistor on each earpiece's hot lead instead?
