I use a tentec 1208 transverter with my Orion.  The transverter has worked
well for many years on 6 meters.  I just let my software worry about
reducing the Orion output power to the correct level and converting the
displayed frequency automatically.   All this happens with a one button
click on the 6 meter band button.
