It's been over 10 years since I posted to Towertalk a little experiment
I did with a Loos tension gauge. I measured Phillystran (how many ways
are there to misspell this product? :.) ) then measured the 3/16 EHS
in series with it. Both measured just about the same, showing that you
can use a Loos tension gauge to measure Phillystran, at least the 4000
lb stuff ant close to recommended tensions.
