I have two M2 antennas up. I talked with them several times. They were
always helpful.
One of the antennas was a special antenna that I bought from someone else
new in the box. I was told to check with M2 about the dimensions. One
problem was the way the Phillystran attached the the linear loading at the
boom which had been fixed after the antenna I have was sold. They supplied
the fix quickly.

I have an M2 antenna going up on the tower soon, so I am interested in
factory service available to cover problems.
Something is fishy in your series of posts. You originally said no return
calls from service, and now this post seems to refute that. You also
mentioned a cost of $500, but M2 web site offers entire antenna for $291. I
am interested in the real story.

Wish that were the case. I've spoken to the "team" at M2 twice.
Actually was told to "F@@K off."
Requested to speak to Mike twice.
Those people are a bunch of idiots.
I won't hold my breath for a call.

Pardon the space for this post,, But Dino is absolutely right...
The folks at M2 are super,, they have helped me fix a 2800 rotor that
I "inherited" and had some issues from previous owners...They told me
things to do to avoid spending a ton on a new rotor, and it all worked !!!
As Dino said,, I think your expierence is rare and I am confident if
you have an issue with a M2 product,, talk to Robert, or Mike....it
WILL be addressed !! Good Luck, Dan N4GNR

Really?! How many calls have you made? If only one and then come out
here to flame someone who has done more for hams than almost any
other mfg is bad form. Try calling again, maybe something slipped
through the cracks. And I suggest protecting the white plastic
switch with black tape to protect it from the UV rays.
I ALWAYS cover Cushcraft's fiberglass insulators with black tape...it
helps it last longer!

Purchased a M2 436CP30. Had a failure of the switching block in less
than 5 years. White plastic cracked and allowed water to ingress to
the switcher.
Customer service?? No return call.
Pics on request.
