Comments:
Conditions were OK, but local noise was high. One of these years I gotta figure
out if the noise is within or outside home.
Didn't make many Q's before about 0330Z because most folks were on 40, then
after that didn't make many Q's because there was no room for a peanut whistle
amongst the cacophony of folks trying to squoze into a 10 KHz space on 80.
Gave up after 35 minutes because of boredom of calling CQ CWT, and then finding
another doing a very short QRL? and plopping down very close or on top of the
same frequency. C'est le guerre for 80 meters and running a few microwatts
ERP, but the RBN was telling me I was +20 dB above the ambient noise in quite a
few parts of the country. Guess 5000 watts might get heard better than 5000
milliwatts. :)
