Comments:
Really tired all day and 3 grandkids are spending the night. Started on 40 and
stayed for 24 minutes. Lots of CQs needed. Pretty good rate, about 2 a minute
and lots of new guys and coverage that was different than what I would expect on
80. When I went to 80 the rate went way up. Mostly 3 a minute, and
occasionally 4 a minute. The 80 meter vertical and inverted vee acted
differently. Both were good, but the vertical was better for distance. The NE
and EW beverages really pulled out some of the weaker guys, especially the west
coast. I debate if I should have started on 80 with a bit of 160. SO2R
eventually will take care of this.
The winter immunotherapy, possible addition of radiation treatment will help me
decide what to do in the spring. I am thinking of a 4 square on 80, finish the
SAL30 this winter, Titanex on 160,and a big rotating tower with stacks. We'll
see what the next few months bring.
