Contact Caton Connectors in Massachusetts. They aren't cheap, probably over
$100 a connector, but it
you want a reliable HV connector good for Amperes of DC.... They make
special cables coming off with HV stress relief on the back side, to
prevent partial discharge, or arc overs. These connectors have silicone
potting.
You might consider SHV, MHV, HN or LC connectors. Amphenol and Kings both
source them. 10 KV is above the operating rating of all of these, however.
With proper connector termination, you might get them to work higher
voltages. Try these manyfacturers. You should specify the current, and are
you are high altitude with these? At Los Alamos, we have to derate things,
and something that says 10KV at sea level won't hold up here.
Silicone RTV can be used to improve what you have, but there cannot be air
bubbles or voids under it, near high field gradients. Or it will fail
shortly.
