But overall,  The 3CXC3000A7 requires much simpler cicuitry, has far better
linearity and considerably lower cost. What's more, no expensive socket is
required.  Even tjhough commercial sockets for the 3CX3000A7 are readily
available, one is easily fabricated in a home shop.
