Phil, not a total "no-brainer." You're talking under 2.5/2k for the
Ameritrons vs. 5.3K for an Alpha! For long term use, you can't beat up
an AL-1200, many, many contesters swear by em'. Only 2K new..
Something to think about. Nothing like and Alpha/Acom but money is BIG
