Yes, I have put a pair of 3CX1200A7s in the L4B RF deck.

Needs a new HV power supply, as well as a net fils Xformer, but then makes a
nice 5Kw RF desktop amp.

: Gentlemen:
:I'm toying with the idea of converting a spare L4B RF deck to 160m only
:operation. Anybody out there have some experiences with such a project
on
:an L4B?

:Also, I have heard that the L4B RF deck is capable of 4KV+. With that
in
:mind, has anyone ever attempted to make this one run on anything else
than
:3-500Zs?
