[Amps] Amp Supply LK800 and its external "Power Pac"

I was just flipping thru an Amp Supply LK800 manual and I see that it
says that you can connect an external "Power Pac" and then run 1500
watts out continuous carrier.  What was the "Power Pac"?  Was it an
additional supply that connected in parallel with the built-in supply
or was it a replacement supply?  Or what?  Anybody know?
