Hi, I am in the process of obtaining and converting a Harris
RF-110A/RF124 combination for amateur use. If I remember correctly
several folks on this list had done this conversion. I have looked for
info on the net, and have found one site where a conversion effort is
documented, but thought I would ask on here. What is the general
opinion of this amp for amateur service? I am primarily looking for an
amp that will be able to "loaf along" at around 1KW "forever"... I
currently run a Henry 3K Prem. Console, but am looking for something at
least as heavy duty, and preferably more so. Anyone on here with
personal experience with this amp that I could email direct regarding
your experiences? How difficult is it to put on the air with amateur
transceivers? Etc.
