1958 Handbook, chapter 6 (HF Transmitters) p. 164: Subsection entitled
"VHF Parasitic Oscillation" specifically addresses this. It's too much
to type and I don't have a scanner, but it describes how to check for
VHF parasitics, how to determine the frequency, and how to suppress them.
This appears in a section called "Stabilizing Amplifiers", which
separately discusses LF, HF and VHF self-oscillation, causes and cures.
