Good link Pete.

Although it appears to be written by a committee of academics and then 
scoured by a room full of lawyers I was able to glean a few almost 
positive statements.

 "PCB exposures in the general population are not likely to result in 
skin and liver effects."

"Rats that ate food containing high levels of PCBs for two years 
developed liver cancer."

"Polychlorinated biphenyls are mixtures of up to 209 individual 
chlorinated compounds (known as congeners)."

The last quote confirms my earlier statement that there are many forms 
of PCB's and with varying degrees of toxicity. Its not like weve been 
exposed to the Agent Orange variety.

If we scale up the rat test it might take a few hundred years for 
humans.

What I would be concerned about is what is coming from imports and Im 
sure I dont have to identify one particular country.
