I've heard Power Point can be used and that it has a measurement gauge.
Have not tried it myself. You can insert all kinds of pictures and
drawings.
One thing I discovered recently: you can copy and paste from AutoCad into PP
and you don't have to reset your background colour. This is helpful for me
because I use black as a background and I have to change to white if I copy
and paste into Word.
