Hi, as one of the "experimenters" with solid metal disks and taken the
conclusion (based on the latest experiment) that RF current must go through
the material I have reasonable doubt that my conclusion was wrong....i.e.
the current will not go through the disk but will flow around the edge. Why
? because I think Faraday's en Lenz's law are correct :-)

1. If RF current "would" go through the disk, this alternating current will
generate a magnetic field. This changing field will induce a cancelling
current (Faraday's law) and as such cancelling the through current. This
effect is strongest where the alternating magnetic field is strongest. This
field is strongest in the middle of the disk and weakest at the outer edge
i.e. the net current will flow at the outer edge, not through the centre.

Why my experiment did show different results, I don't know ... however, I
think laws of physics still holds strong ...

p.s. We might change the subject line as I can imagine some of the readers
may be fed up with this discussion ...
