OK Guys , I need some advice, I have my main power supply built and is
operating quite nicely , BUT the transformer is an old Hammond 779 and it only
has a 110 primary , weighing in at 87 lbs ,it is far from being very portable ,
I want to build something I can lug with me to a remote contest site a cpl
times a yr and have been looking at my options , MFJ has a real nice Hypersil
for about 410 bucks brand new , and as far as used goes all I am seeing is
offerings more expensive than that from Surplus Sales of Nebraska

I am not looking for a monster, if I can find something that will give me 1200w
in SSB mode from my GS35b deck it would be ideal. 2400v at 800 ma is more than
enough ,prefferably dual primary or 240v, is there any scources for such a pig
that I am missing SSN cant be the ONLY vendor that deals in something like this

any help or advice would be most appreciated
