Field strength measurements are normally not required for broadcast stations. 
The only time we've had it done was when a cell tower was constructed near one 
of our AMs and we had to determine if it re-radiated the AM and made it 
unintentionally directional. Not sure about directionals, thankfully I've never 
worked for one.
