Ive seen his work annd Im not impressed with his ratings, more like Heathkits 500-600 Va for the SB-220.

I had Heyboer build an E-I one for a LK-550, that took a lightning hit, for $425 that barely fit the external PAK-5 cabinet and came in at 61 # compared to 43# for the factory Dahl. I let a friend use it for a RTTY contest and I used it full bore as an AM linear. Never got hot.

Have no fear about Harbach not making transformers. My friend Peter Eggimann has been making HV transformers since 1983 and has all the Dahl’s data and specs from years ago. He has a nice manufacturing facility in Wendell, N.C........EPD ....Electronic Products Design, Inc......website: epd-inc.com. I was a customer before I retired and now as a hobby amp builder.......Gary, K4AVC
