Of course, if you really want a complex system, try an Airbus! Two AC buses and two DC buses each of which can be cross fed, and 'ESSENTIAL AC' and an 'ESSENTIAL DC' bus, engine driven generators, a battery supply for the DC essential bus and an inverter and a ram air turbine supply........
