Is it biased class "C" for CW usage on 6 meters? If so it should do a
bit better that 65% efficiency.
No, Amp is for SSB use only, No CW<<
What condition are the 3-500Z's?
Tubes are new from RF Parts, I know that doesn't mean they are good, I'll
have to try them in my other L4B.<<
If the Drake L4B is rated 1,000 Watts on CW I would not expect 1,000
Watts on 6 meters.
In original form in SSB mode it was rated at 2000 watts PEP input with 100
watts of drive.<<
