  Positively NOT, they are highly conductive.  These tubes are operated
with their plates grounded through a plate current meter and a plate
current overload relay, these power supplies are specially designed
with the negative terminal highly insulated, not the positive and the
filament, bias, screen and ion pump supplies are high Voltage isolated
and operate above or above the kathode Voltage.
