Contesters:

Reading over all the musings about the WPX (or whatever the "contest of the
month" happens to be), I can see that the goal in all cases seems to be to be
able to compare apples to apples (W.Coast vs Hole vs E.Coast vs Eur., etc.).
So how about this:

How about a score (no, not officially sanctioned, just for a fun comparison)
that is the result of station/operater PRODUCTIVITY. Each entrant can operate
as many hours as they want to. Take your total score and divide it by the
number of hours you operated. The idea is to optimize your operating...who is
most skilled at recognizing good condx from fair condx, gathering mults vs
running, etc. Those who simply operate full time without regard to rate/mults
may lose out. If you only operate 1 hour, then your total score simply won't
be big enough to compete (cumulative multiplier effect). Equally, operating
all the time at less-than-optimal rates will drag your overall productivity
rate down. It will be fun to see if the best productivity rates will happen
at 24 or 30 or 36 hours. It's not great, but it's something. Comments?
