The blatant and illegal use of super high power in contests.


... is one of the reasons why I happily started
low power contesting several years ago...

Actually I dont know at all - I simply hope theres not so
much cheating going on in this "gentlemen's class"
and people really use only 100w.

Yes .. count me in on those who are in favour
of chasing excessive power users.


2.) I often hear one comment regarding excessive power (cfm e.g 4L5Bs post) but I dont understand the logics:

- it makes no difference anyway, if I use 2 or 3kW instead
of 1.5kW (because 10dB would be 15kW...)
--> yes I know, but if it makes no difference,
     then WHY DO YOU DO IT AT ALL ?

Why cant we just follow the rules.
Every win achieved any other way is so unbelieveably hollow.
